Anthony David Gonzalez (born August 25 in 1970) is an American former football tight-end. Gonzalez was a player in the National Football League from 1997 through 2003. One of the best football tight ends Anthony David Gonzalez also the NFL top receiver yards by tight end and is third overall in receiving.
Tony Gonzalez serves as a FOX sports studio analyst for FOX sports studio. Gonzalez has been as a guest on FOX NFL KICKOFF (FOX's one-hour NFL pregame show prior to FOX NFL the SUNRISE), which is broadcast each Sunday at 11:00 AM ET through the NFL season.
Gonzalez has resigned from the Falcons on March 15 2013 for a contract worth $14 million over two years. He did this even though he claimed that he was going to retire at the end of the season. Randy Moss retired in 2013, and Gonzalez, who was 37 when he left, spent the last year of his professional career as the NFL most prolific receiver of yards.
